As always, ensure that you retain your purchase receipt – it should be sent to you via email for safekeeping shortly after joining. The same goes for cancellations. You should expect an email confirming that you’ve requested future charges and access stopped. So, if there is an issue, you have the documentation to prove that you’ve previously scrapped the account.

Figure Out the Process Beforehand

Verifying cancellation procedures, watching for cross-sales, and checking on customer support can be challenging in the heat of the moment. I completely understand.
