Yokozuna VR Time!

Like it’s Japanese namesake, VR Sumo is a behemoth tube site filled to the gills with not only hundreds of VR clips, but also a bevy of unique options to filter the videos, some of which I’ve never seen as well as others designed to customize your user experience.

Lots and Lots and Lots of VR Scenes

This tube site is great for newcomers and long-time fans of VR porn alike as it presents a considerable chunk of all the adult VR that’s on the web, all at one convenient web address. If you aren’t new to VR porn, you can use this site as a way to make sure you’ve watched everything that interests you and with a video count of over 700, even I’ve come across videos I’ve never seen before.

Streaming here is interesting to say the least. I would actually recommend trying out streaming scenes on your phone or computer before you put on your VR device, to see what I mean. By dragging the screen around with your mouse, you’re able to simulate head-tilting to see what’s happening in your 180° or in some cases 360° FOV, and scrolling enables the zoom feature, which is interesting, but without a VR headset there’s certainly no 3D effect. I was only able to get the streaming to run through my Cardboard and the effect was definitely less than ideal. First you have to click on the VR goggles at the bottom of the screen and then scan a QR code, but even then the scaling was way off.

Accessible Across All Major Viewers

The downloads the site offers include six different options: Oculus, Vive, OSVR, Gear, LQ and HQ cardboard. I tried out three formats for my Oculus, Gear and Cardboard and there was a decent 3D effect across all three devices, though it took some fiddling around on the VR app on my phone to get the most ideal image, especially for the Gear and Cardboard. The files played on the Oculus without a hitch, but they were so short that it almost felt self-defeating.

Sort Across Studio, POV & FOV

Some of the site’s more redeeming features I thought were its filters. Not only can you choose between any number of popular categories, but you can also sort between models, studios, scenes that offer either a 180° or 360° FOV, a POV of either male, female or voyeur, duration and date. VRSumo also has three virtual reality tutorials under the “VR articles” tab, a link to the up-and-coming AliceX live VR cam site, as well as a link that will take you to BaDoink VR where you can receive a free VR headset with any membership purchase.

I’m kind of torn between deciding whether or not I like this tube site. On the one hand, there’s so many clips and options that I feel like I could spend days getting off to this site, but then again, so many of the clips are too short to really be enjoyed. This site will not deliver the full VR experience, obviously, but it does offer a taste of what VR sites have to offer.
